Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor with 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for various platforms, including digital marketing campaigns, social media, feature films, and promotional videos. You will work closely with our production team to create engaging videos that align with our brand's vision and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut, trim, and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging final videos, ensuring the narrative and visual flow are maintained.
• Sync audio with video and apply sound design elements, including music, sound effects, and voiceovers, to enhance the overall quality of the video.
• Perform color correction and grading to achieve the desired mood and visual style that aligns with the project brief.
• Integrate motion graphics, titles, and other visual effects to enhance video content and create a more immersive viewer experience.
• Work closely with the DOP, directors, and other team members to understand the creative vision and deliver content that meets the project goals.
• Edit videos for different formats and platforms, ensuring optimal quality and compliance with technical specifications.
• Organize and maintain project files, ensuring backups and archiving are managed systematically.
• Review feedback from stakeholders and make necessary edits to ensure the final product meets all expectations.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest editing tools, techniques, and trends in video production.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across different styles and formats.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
• Strong storytelling skills with an eye for detail, pacing, and rhythm to create engaging video content.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during the editing process and find creative solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience in creating motion graphics and animations to enhance video content.
• Proficiency in audio editing software and sound design.
• Understanding of camera work, lighting, and composition to enhance the editing process.
