We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, a strong understanding of storytelling, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, compelling video content for various platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit Video Content: Edit raw footage into engaging and coherent video content according to project requirements and brand guidelines. This includes cutting, trimming, and arranging clips to create a polished final product.
• Storytelling: Develop and enhance the narrative of each video through effective pacing, transitions, and visual effects.
• Audio Management: Incorporate and edit audio elements, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects, ensuring high-quality sound and synchronization with the video.
• Visual Effects and Graphics: Add and manage visual effects, animations, and graphics as needed to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and ensure alignment with creative vision.
• Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to meet project expectations and deadlines.
• Organize and Manage Assets: Maintain an organized file system for video assets and ensure proper archiving and retrieval of project files.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
