Job Overview :
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join us in our MADness. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to take on a pivotal role within our creative team and enhance video content to elevate our visual storytelling.
The candidate should be able to visually create content, collaborate, maintain brand consistency, and be creative and innovative (bringing in the MADness).
Roles and Responsibilities :
• Produce and edit short-form and long-form video content tailored for social media platforms.
• Adapt to diverse client needs, ensuring versatility across corporate and entertainment projects.
• Collaborate with the creative team to align all video content with client visions and company standards.
• Utilize industry-standard video editing software proficiently.
• Utilize editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.
• Edit and assemble raw footage to create compelling and seamless videos.
• Implement motion graphic elements in ads and social media creatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, video techniques, and emerging technologies.
• Take initiative in learning new editing tools and techniques to enhance skills.
• Optimize videos for different formats and platforms, maintaining visual appeal and adherence to platform-specific best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance project outcomes.
• Maintain organized project files and follow best practices for version control.
• Ensure all video content meets quality standards for resolution, format, and technical specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver completed videos within specified deadlines.
• Communicate project status, timelines, and potential issues to project managers and stakeholders.
• Ensure continuity and seamless transitions between shots and scenes.
• Manage and archive project files for future reference and editing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in video editing software and techniques.
Additional Skills :
• Software Proficiency : After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve
• Portfolio : Showcase diverse video projects (videographer) and motion graphics, animation, and visual effects (motion designer)
• A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to bring innovative ideas to video projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Agency experience is a plus.
• Understanding of Color Correction & Color grading.
