About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Urban Edge Media on a contract basis. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and refining high-quality video content that supports our clients' marketing and advertising campaigns. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment, contributing to the success of our clients' visual storytelling efforts.
What you'll be doing
Reviewing and selecting the best footage from video shoots to create engaging, visually compelling video content
Editing video footage using industry-standard software to enhance the visual narrative and ensure a seamless final product
Collaborating with the production team to incorporate client feedback and make necessary revisions to video content
Ensuring all video deliverables meet client specifications and brand guidelines
Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and trends to continuously improve the quality of your work
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio of high-quality video projects
Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, emotionally impactful video content
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Familiarity with video production and post-production techniques, including colour correction, sound design, and special effects
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a creative team
