Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. You will play a key role in enhancing the quality and impact of our video content.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into polished videos, including promotional videos, advertisements, documentaries, and more.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver high-quality video content.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video projects.
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
Manage and organize all video files and assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe After Effects or Photoshop.
Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for video content.
Knowledge of cinematography and photography principles.
Experience with live streaming and video production for digital platforms.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any field. Relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
