Job Description
This is a full-time Video Editor role with a potential for conversion to a full-time position after a 6-month contract. The role involves creating engaging video content for various platforms, including long and short-form videos, images, and GIFs. You'll be working closely with the Marketing and Content Team to understand their requirements and create visually appealing content for educational technology courses focused on game development. You'll edit raw footage, create motion graphics and animations, and ensure the final product meets high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a video editor, strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop or Affinity Designer, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must Have
• 2+ years of experience as a Video Editor
• Ability to take initiative and manage projects
• Experience with motion graphics and animation
• Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and basic animation
• Edit raw footage into engaging videos
• Top notch video editing skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop or Affinity Designer
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines
About the role:
• Type of work - Full-time (open for hiring freelancer as well)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Video Editor, your key responsibilities will include:
• Work on long form and short form videos for editing
• Creating engaging Images & Gifs relevant to our coursework
• Communicate with the Marketing and Content Team to Understand their requirements
• Create relevant Graphics to be used in our Ed. Tech. Courses for upskilling people in game development
• Edit the raw videos provided by the marketing and content team according to their requirements
• Create kick ass content to help people learn how to build games
Who you are
• Someone with 2+ years of experience as a video editor
• Have ability to take initiative, show good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end
• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and basic animation
• Edit raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and ad campaigns.
• Hold top notch video editing skills
• Ability to pay attention to minute details (because if you wont, team will)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of tools such as- Adobe premier, aftereffects, Illustrator, Photoshop or affinity designer
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
