We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished videos that align with our school’s innovative philosophy, storytelling tone, and aesthetic. From promotional reels and event highlights to educational content and social media videos, your work will help bring our vision to life.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into engaging short- and long-form content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, website, etc.)
Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project goals and deliver visual narratives that reflect the brand
Trim, rearrange, and enhance footage with transitions, titles, motion graphics, background music, and sound effects
Maintain consistent branding, tone, and quality across all content
Manage and organize video assets and backups
Stay up to date with new editing trends, tools, and techniques
Requirements
Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio/reel required)
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics
Basic knowledge of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for impactful storytelling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the education or non-profit sector is a plus
Skills in photography, graphic design, or animation are a bonus
Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi for editing regional content is desirable
