Key Responsibilities: Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content for websites, social media, presentations, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and visual styles. Add graphics, special effects, sound, and music to enhance the final video product. Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring proper formatting, aspect ratios, and quality standards. Edit and produce a wide range of video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, social media clips, and event recaps. Manage video content from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet deadlines and brand guidelines. Stay up-to-date with video editing trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve the quality of video output. Assist in shooting video content when needed, including setting up cameras, lighting, and sound equipment. Organize and archive video files, ensuring efficient file management for future use. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Video Production, or a related field. Proven experience (2+ years) as a Video Editor, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of editing styles and projects. Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with motion graphics and animation using tools like Adobe After Effects. Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color grading, sound design, and editing workflows. Ability to work with multiple video formats and ensure compatibility across platforms. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create engaging, visually appealing videos. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and iterate on projects. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with graphic design and creating custom visual elements. Knowledge of video equipment operation, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment. Experience with live video editing or streaming platforms. Familiarity with social media video formats and platform-specific requirements.
