Job description, work day and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Experienced with combining video and motion graphic.
Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specifications.
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to
maximize efficiency.
Enhance social media and overall marketing strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in digital technology and editing software packages (such as Adobe After Effects,
Premiere, Illustrator, Avid Media Composer, Light works, final cut
and Photoshop )
Experience in creating engaging visuals and motion graphics for advertising campaigns, social
media, and videos.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Digital Media or a related field is
preferred.
Experience in the advertising industry will be an add on.
