Senior Video Editor cum Animator Position
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Video Editor cum Animator to lead our post-production team.
This is a key position within our growing advertising agency, ideal for a professional who can manage video editing and animation projects, while mentoring editors and motion designers to deliver high-impact visual content for brands across digital, TV, and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the video editing and animation team, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos with a strong narrative flow and emotional impact.
• Create 2D/3D motion graphics and animations aligned with brand goals.
• Collaborate closely with creative directors, copywriters, and account managers to understand project needs.
• Oversee the entire post-production process from storyboarding and editing to color grading and sound design.
• Ensure consistency in visual style and quality across all projects.
• Stay updated on trends in animation, video formats, and editing styles.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and internal reviews for video deliverables.
Requirements:
• 58 years of professional experience in video editing and animation, preferably in an advertising or media agency.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator; knowledge of Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
• Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for detail, pacing, and transitions.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a small creative team.
• Excellent understanding of social media video formats, advertising standards, and digital trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Nice to Have:
• Experience working on ad films, brand videos, explainer animations, and reels.
• Familiarity with sound design, SFX, and basic audio editing tools.
• Motion graphics portfolio showcasing creativity and execution.
