Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Assistant Video Editor & Colour Grader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong proficiency in various video editing software. This role involves collaborating with our production team to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand's vision and objectives. Enhance the colors of footage to achieve a desired visual look and mood. They work with directors and cinematographers, using color grading software like DaVinci Resolve or Baselight, to balance color, correct photographic issues, and create a consistent visual style throughout a project. Essentially, they are responsible for the final aesthetic of the moving image.
Duties
• Edit raw footage into polished final products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro, to enhance video content.
• Incorporate graphics and animations using Adobe Illustrator and other design tools as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Review and revise edits based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain an organised library of video assets for easy access and retrieval.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing.
Skills
• Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Motion, DaVinci Resolve or Baselight and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator for graphic integration.
• Excellent understanding of video editing techniques and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail with a creative mindset for storytelling through visuals.
• Basic photography skills are advantageous for capturing supplementary content when required.
• Basic knowledge of Animation.

Pay: £22,880.00-£23,000.00 per year
