Video Editor and Junior Creative Producer
VAMRR Technologies accelerates digital transformation. It does this through both its business units, Ecosystem Engagement Business Unit & Enterprise Training Business Unit. This specific role that we are posting the job description for, is for the enterprise training business unit.
• The Enterprise Training Business unit of VAMRR Technologies, offers training content creation services to large scale enterprises. The content formats and mediums include SCORM Content for all devices that can access the internet, Video Learning Solutions, 3D & 2D Animated solutions, Interactive Mobile Applications, Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality based training solutions.
• We are looking for a talented Video Producer who is an all rounder with all aspects of Video Production including Video Film Making / Shooting (Using a DSLR), Video Editing, Sound Editing, Titles, Transitions, Packaging, Post Production, Colour Grading & Optimization with a very organised approach for video production at scale. File Naming, Backup Creation as well as ability to go through detailed excel files with client notes, on the required videos is also part of the role. The role will require you to and provide you with an opportunity to go on premise to client locations and factories/plants in different parts of the country.
• SKILLS
- Video Film Making & Videography with DSLR (Knowledge and good hands-on experience with DSLR cameras
- Video & Audio Editing with Adobe Premiere (Experience with Premiere Pro)
- Titles, Transitions, Annotations, Textual Work with Premiere
- Post Production, Colour Grading, Audio Consistency & Enhancement with Adobe Premiere
- Video Optimization with Handbrake (We can teach you this, it is very simple)
- Video Production Management - Including Maintaining Excel Logs of Shots, Meta Data, Remarks, Following Proper File Naming Nomenclatures, Ensuring Multiple Backups and that Latest Edited Versions are being used.
- Ability to work with Excel. All shots, along with their descriptions and caption as well as annotated text will be provided to you in excel and you need to be organised, meticulous and disciplined with handling the same, as much as with the video shooting or editing.
- Ability & Aptitude for dealing with a lot of textual+audio visual content. This role will require input of text with every video shot. If you are someone who has a mental block to text, then this might not be for you.
- Team Player Attitude and Very Clear Communication Skills. You will be working with 3-4 motion graphics artists, mechanical engineers, content writers and others. As video producer and editor, it will be crucial to be communicative, and to have a very good working relationship and rapport with colleagues.
- Ability to think content from a Learning Experience (Point of View) all content shot and created at VAMRR (currently) is mostly technical in nature and deals with training of Company workforce in industrial plants and factories, your approach to film making/content creation has to be tuned into learning focus and goals. It is a thinking role.
- The creative scope this role offers you is in terms of the ability to make content very engaging and interesting even if it may have a chance of being repetitive,or dry. It will offer you a chance to hone your creative content producing skills, on how to treat and shoot and present technical content in a most interesting and engaging manner.
• Additional Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, animations, and compositing
- Creative mind and understanding of video content
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Responsibilities Associated with this Role:
- Editing E Learning Modules focused on Industrial & Engineering Processes
- Shooting content on-site with a DSLR Camera & other basic accessories.
- Creating Titles, textual descriptions, annotations & Transitions for the same
- Maintaining Audio Quality & Consistency
- Rendering & Publishing on Premiere and Optimising on Handbrake
- Edit video content in Adobe Premiere Pro CC
- Generate different, engaging, learning templates, with the creative team and present them to clients
- Understanding client requirements thoroughly
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the content
- Take a brief to grasp the content team’s needs and specifications
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Create rough and final cuts
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency
