Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer
📍 Location: Vashi | 💼 Salary Range: ₹25,000–₹35,000/month
About the Role
ASBS MBA is hiring a Video Editing & Motion Graphics Designer who can shoot, edit, and animate impactful videos for our student-centric campaigns. You’ll be responsible for everything from setting up shoots to editing and motion designing final content for Meta ads, Instagram reels, YouTube videos, and brand explainers.
This is a hybrid role combining video production (shooting) and post-production (editing + animation)—ideal for a hands-on creator.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Shoot Setup
• Plan and set up indoor/outdoor shoots for student interviews, faculty messages, campus walkthroughs, reels, etc.
• Operate cameras and lights; must be able to shoot using iPhone (13/14/15) with professional techniques
• Handle basic lighting, framing, and audio recording using lapel mics or portable setups
• Organize and maintain raw footage for editing pipeline
• Direct subjects on set for natural, clean, and clear communication
Editing & Post-Production
• Edit reels, testimonials, social videos, and YouTube content
• Add transitions, music, sound effects, lower thirds, and subtitles
• Repurpose long videos into shorter vertical and square formats
• Export and optimize final videos for Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
Motion Graphics & Visual Design
• Animate logo intros, callouts, infographics, titles, and brand elements
• Design short animated explainers and campaign videos
• Ensure consistent branding across all motion assets
AI & Creative Tools Usage
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut Pro, Final Cut Pro, Filmora
• AI video tools (e.g., RunwayML, Pictory, Descript) to automate and enhance workflow
• Use prompt engineering to generate video scripts, subtitles, hooks, and scene ideas using ChatGPT or similar
Requirements
• 1–3 years of video editing & production experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing editing, motion graphics, and filmed content
• Hands-on experience shooting with iPhone and DSLR/mirrorless cameras
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Basic knowledge of lighting, framing, and audio gear setup
• Familiarity with AI tools and script-writing using ChatGPT or similar
• Education/EdTech content experience is a bonus
