This role involves working on various projects, from promotional videos to educational content to podcasts, ensuring that each piece aligns with our brand's vision and objectives.
Duties
Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that meets project specifications.
Collaborate with content creators and directors to understand project goals and desired outcomes.
Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, for video editing and post-production tasks.
Incorporate 2D animation and graphics using tools like Maya and Cinema for enhanced visual storytelling.
Manage video assets through FTP and Adobe Bridge, ensuring organized storage and easy access for team members.
Conduct photo editing as needed to complement video content.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve editing skills and output quality.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for content creation, contributing innovative ideas that align with audience engagement strategies.
Requirements
Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci, etc).
Experience with 2D animation techniques; familiarity with Maya or Cinema is a plus.
Strong understanding of videography principles and content creation processes.
Knowledge of FTP protocols for file management is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
