We are IndiGG, a gaming DAO based out of Bangalore and we are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join us. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that showcases our partnered games, engages our target audience, and drives user engagement.
The ideal candidate is passionate about video games, has a strong understanding of video editing techniques, possesses excellent storytelling abilities and has an eye for viral gaming content. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our gaming brand and shape the visual representation of our games.
Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content, including trailers, gameplay videos, promotional materials, and social media clips.
Collaborate with the community & content team to develop video concepts that align with our brand and marketing objectives.
Ensure video projects adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in style. tone, and messaging.
Use video editing software and tools to enhance video quality, color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
Work closely with game developers and designers to understand game mechanics, features, and storytelling elements, ensuring the videos effectively showcase the games.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing, gaming, and online content creation.
Manage video assets, organize files, and maintain an efficient video library for easy access and retrieval.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative ideas and provide input during pre-production meetings.
Meet project deadlines and deliver video content according to the required specifications and formats.
Optimize videos for various platforms and screen sizes, ensuring optimal playback quality and compatibility.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of video editing techniques, including cutting, trimming, transitions, color correction, and audio synchronization.
Experience in motion graphics, visual effects, and compositing is a plus.
Passion for video games and a solid understanding of gaming culture.
Excellent storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A portfolio or reel demonstrating previous video editing work, preferably showcasing gaming-related content.
