As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our dynamic digital team—a group of exceptionally creative professionals dedicated to producing impactful content. Given the fast-paced nature of politics, we operate in a high-energy, round-the-clock environment. Collaboration is central to our work culture, ensuring that tasks are optimally distributed so every team member has meaningful opportunities to contribute.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce high-quality, technically polished videos that reinforce core
• campaign messages.
• Review, organize, and enhance raw footage for inter-team collaboration.
• Work closely with videographers, content writers, and graphic/animation designers to ensure final outputs align with campaign objectives.
• Maintain and organize a video repository for long-term use.
• Conduct research and source relevant online visual material for video production.
• Accompany on-field units to document campaign trails and exploratory trips.
• Utilize audio tools to synchronize audio-visual outputs effectively.
• Operate live editing consoles to provide real-time streams to social
• media and media teams.
• Leverage modern AI tools for video making.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a video editor in television, digital media, film, news, or socio-political industries.
• Strong expertise in video editing techniques, visual storytelling, and post-production processes.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Blender.
• Knowledge of live editing and sound editing tools.
• Professional fluency in Tamil (Mandatory) and English.
Additional Requirements
• Strong alignment with our organizational values and mission.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to create compelling content.
• Willingness to work extended hours and shifts based on campaign needs.
• Availability to travel across Tamil Nadu as required.
• Ability to contribute creatively and meaningfully to campaign
