About the Company:PMC Hindi is a Media (Digital, Social, TV and Satellite channels) & Community Platform (Offline & Online) using the power of media to create positive social change, based out of New Delhi. We are currently distributing via Satellite & IPTV (JIO TV) across leading DTH (Tata Play) and cable operators (Siti, Den, Fastway) across India to over 5+ crores homes and have a over 200+ centers across India spreading the awareness of self-empowerment tools such as meditation, pyramid energy and vegetarianism from a spiritual science context.
RequirementWe are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our busy production team. As a video editor - Executive, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the production director.
ResponsibilitiesCreative
Gel sight and sound together in a way that shows a cohesive storyMake the edits in a manner that transitions are invisible to the audienceCollaborate with Video operator on technical aspects of capturing appropriate footageCo-transform the messaging and overall broadcast aesthetic with the management groupEdit short- and long-form videos for channel and social media accountsTake charge of video ideation and creationEnsure videos meet the content team’s specifications and guidelinesImplement creative notes from stakeholders
TechnicalBe conversant with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects)Knowledge and understanding of motion graphics is preferredPrevious experience in editing videos is desirableCapacity to communicate effectivelyAttention to detailAbility to pick out attention-grabbing shotsExcellent storytelling skillsKnowledge of basic editing principlesAbility to work with multi-track split audioKnowledge of aspect ratiosExperience with high-resolution file transfer applicationsUnderstanding of video encoding formatsTalent for sound design

Reporting Location and Travel:Successful candidate shall work out of New Delhi location for video editing at our office in Green Park.
Who are we?PMC is the broadcasting arm of Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement which is non-religious, non-cult, non-profit voluntary organizations whose sole mission is to spread Anapanasati Meditation, Vegetarianism, Spiritual Science and beneficial uses of Pyramid Energy to one and all.The channel has been currently uploading content in Hindi, Telugu, English, Kannada, Tamizh, and is now with the great grace of our founder and grandmaster Brahmarishi Patriji, is now establishing PMC Hindi Live, which shall be showcasing spiritual services offered by the PSSM in around 10,000 energy zones.
PMC Hindi Live is currently being set up as a channel (currently through web based services) in Hindi medium that brings the joy and experience of meditation to all hindi speaking folks across the nation. Our vision is to reach out to the masses by showcasing experiences of people who have benefitted from Anapanasati breath meditation, and broadcast all hindi based meditation events, workshops and conferences organized by PSSM societies for the benefit of masses.
We are a team of dynamic, and motivated youngsters who want to bring this vision into reality and are seeking talented people who have a desire to contribute to a noble cause, hone their skills further and grow as the organisation grows in its viewer base.
