Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Video editor at Experience Destination. The Editor will be responsible to help the Marketing team from pre to post production work in all video related content. Curating and creating engaging videos from our content bank for social media platforms, and marketing materials with a primary focus on instagram reels and youtube shorts.
Thing you'll be doing:
• Build and maintain a content bank for Experience Destination over the time.
• Assist the content team in video production and edits as per their current requirements.
• To grow the digital distribution, you need to ensure producing at least 4-6 reels a week from the content bank.
• Assist the marketing team in shooting the videos.
• Your responsibility includes research to find relevant stories from the internet, follow social media trends, build good rapport with creators in the Northeast especially from the travel sector.
• You are also expected to pull off relevant collaborations with travel stakeholders (influencers, content creators, travel educators, local storytellers, chefs, property owners etc) that can help ED with content creation and increase its digital distribution.
• You are expected to hire people (interns, freelancers or full time) like more editors, cinematographers etc to contribute to the content team as we grow and need them.
Qualifications/Pre Requisites:
• Prior experience in content creation is mandatory.
• Someone who is very active in social media or has built a social media community in the past will be preferred.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
• Photography and videography skills
• Comfortable with phone editing tools like VN, Canva and reel editor.
• Excellent in editing softwares like Adobe PP or FCP.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of North-East India and its tourism industry is a plus
• Excellent english speaking skills
