We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Multimedia Graphic Designer/Podcast Producer to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for creating compelling visual content across various platforms, with a strong focus on producing high-quality podcasts from start to finish. This includes graphic design for marketing materials, video editing for podcast distribution, managing audio recording and editing, operating camera equipment, and maintaining our podcast studio.
Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
• Design engaging visuals for marketing materials, including but not limited to: website graphics, social media posts, email newsletters, brochures, presentations, and print collateral.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and visual strategies.
• Create and maintain design templates and style guides.
Podcast Production:
• Pre-Production:
• Collaborate with podcast hosts and guests to plan episodes and develop content outlines.
• Schedule recordings and manage guest communication.
• Prepare the podcast studio for recordings, ensuring proper setup of equipment.
Production (Recording):
• Operate camera equipment (including multi-camera setups if applicable) during podcast recordings.
• Manage audio levels and ensure high-quality sound recording.
• Direct the recording session, providing guidance to hosts and guests.
Post-Production:
• Edit audio recordings, including noise reduction, leveling, and mixing.
• Edit video recordings, including adding intro/outro sequences, graphics, and other visual elements.
• Create short video clips for social media promotion of podcasts.
• Ensure timely delivery of finished podcast episodes.
Studio Management:
• Maintain the podcast studio, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during recordings.
• Organize and maintain audio and video files.
• Maintain Equipment Inventory.
Other Responsibilities:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, software, and technologies.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in graphic design and video editing.1
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
• Experience with podcast recording and editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Adobe Pod).
• Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound recording techniques.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and branding principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Portfolio demonstrating graphic design and video editing skills.
