Video Editor & Graphic Designer for Gurdwara Saheb

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor and Graphic designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and possess a strong eye for detail. You will be responsible for editing video content that engages our audience and enhances our brand identity. This role requires proficiency in various editing software and an understanding of visual design principles.

Duties

Edit raw footage into polished video content (YT videos, Reels, YT shorts) that aligns with project goals and timelines.
Maintaining our on-site studio (making sure we always ready to shoot).
Utilize Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite to enhance video quality and incorporate typography effectively. (Other apps are accepted as well).
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Designing posters and printable materials for our projects.
Requirements

Must be able to understand Panjabi as most of our work revolves around panjabi society and culture.
Understanding of Sikh history and principle is must as we operating out from a Gurdwara Saheb.
Excellent attention to detail, story telling and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe After Effects, is essential (proficiency in other apps is considerable as well) .
Experience with Canva or other designer tools is must.
Understanding of motion graphics, typography, and visual design principles.
Experience with graphic design tools such as CorelDraw and InVision is a plus.
Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript and CSS is beneficial but not mandatory.
