Key Responsibilities
• Video editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive and engaging video, ensuring a smooth and seamless flow between scenes
• Storytelling: Understand the narrative or message of the video and use creative editing techniques to effectively communicate the desired story or information
• Video enhancement: Enhance video quality by adjusting brightness, color grading, and applying visual effects or filters to create a visually appealing and professional-looking end product
• Audio editing: Edit and synchronize audio tracks, including dialogue, background music, sound effects, and voice-overs to ensure proper audio balance and clarity
• Transitions and effects: Utilise various transitions, effects, and animations to enhance the visual appeal and create a polished and professional video
• Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand their vision and provide creative input during the editing process
• Organization and file management: Organise and manage project files and maintain an organized library of digital assets
• Technical proficiency: Stay updated with the latest video editing software and tools, and possess a strong understanding of video formats, compression, and delivery requirements for different platforms
• Feedback and revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and make necessary revisions to meet project requirements and client expectations
• Deadlines and time management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality work within designated timeframes
