We're offering a unique internship opportunity for a passionate and motivated Video Editor Intern who’s looking to level up their skills—not just technically, but creatively. The role of a Video Editor is to create engaging content across the Greyhound Racing UK media platforms. This currently consists of 5 distinct brands.

The position is home based with occasional travel for team meetings and greyhound events. Full support for working from home will be provided including provision of equipment.

The Internship

Supporting the Video Editors and Motion Designer, you will be involved in an array of tasks during your internship allowing you to learn different aspects of Video, Motion and Social Media including:

Video

• Editing race highlights and features

• Creation of social media video content

• Producing promotional videos

• Editing live event coverage

• Creating video templates

• Managing video asset library

Podcast

• Edit weekly podcast episodes

• Mix and master audio content

• Creating podcast clips for social

• Managing audio quality

• Handling multi-track editing

• Creating audio trailers

• Supporting live recordings

• Maintaining audio archives

Motion

• Producing animated data visualizations

• Creating brand animations

• Creating animated templates

• Supporting live broadcast graphics

• Producing promotional animations

YouTube

• Editing Episode for the YouTube channel

• Edit shorts from long form for social media video content

• Creating video templates

• Filming occasionally for the Channel

• Edit daily YouTube episodes

Broadcast

• Producing content for Live, Studio and Podcasts on all Greyhound Racing UK social media platforms including, but not limited to TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X.

• Cut the races, Podcast, Greyhound News tips ‘best bits’ to create micro social content for all media ensuring it is captioned and follows brand guidelines

About you

You should already have:

• Basic editing skills with Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, or any similar platform.

• Basic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube trends.

• Understanding of social media formats

• Basic Audio mixing/mastering skills

• Motion graphics capabilities (is advantageous)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as a team member

• A positive attitude towards change and able to work under pressure

You need to be:

• Comfortable working with footage, organizing media, and exporting for different platforms

• Able to take initiative to drive your learning forward

• Able to prioritise to meet deadlines and organise complex activities

• Diligent with a high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy at all times in own work and the work of others

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £24,570.00 per year
