Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and tech-driven Video Editor Intern to join our distributed marketing team remotely from India. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced AI video tools and contribute to storytelling that showcases Katonic’s Sovereign AI platform on a global scale. Exceptional performers will be considered for full-time employment after 3–6 months.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, edit, and enhance engaging video content including product demos, promotional videos, explainers, and social media content.
• Utilize AI video generation tools provided by the company to produce dynamic and innovative visuals.
• Apply professional editing techniques for color correction, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to storyboard and develop video concepts aligned with campaign goals.
• Experiment with AI tools to streamline production workflows and push creative boundaries.
• Maintain version control and asset organization for efficient video management.
• Optimize videos for multiple platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, and paid campaigns.
Requirements
Education & Experience
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Video Production, Film Studies, Visual Communications, Media Arts, or related field.
• Portfolio showcasing original video editing work or creative video projects.
• Experience with editing software such as Canva, Arcade, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Familiarity with AI video tools or willingness to learn emerging technologies.
Technical & Creative Skills
• Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and resolution standards.
• Ability to edit for narrative flow and pacing.
• Understanding of visual design principles, branding, and consistency in content.
• Interest in AI-driven content creation and storytelling.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation is a plus.
