We are seeking a detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will create informative and engaging video content that supports our mission to educate and assist individuals with immigration processes. Your work will help communicate important information and resources effectively to our clients and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce videos that explain immigration procedures, services, and resources.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate representation of immigration policies and procedures.
Integrate graphics, subtitles, and animations to enhance the clarity and impact of video content.
Ensure all videos adhere to legal guidelines and sensitivity towards diverse audiences.
Review and incorporate feedback from team members to refine video projects.
Organize and maintain video files and project assets in a structured manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a focus on educational or informational content.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong attention to detail and an understanding of pacing and narrative structure.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication skills, especially in conveying complex information clearly.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with motion graphics and animations (e.g., After Effects).
Knowledge of immigration laws and procedures is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and video optimization for outreach.
