As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating final video products that align with our brand’s vision and goals. You will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Video Editing & Content Optimization:
• Edit raw video footage to create compelling, high-quality videos for various purposes, including marketing, advertising, social media, and internal communications.
• Adapt video content for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn), ensuring each version meets platform-specific requirements and maximizes audience engagement.
• Storytelling and Post Production:
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project’s narrative and deliver a cohesive story through video editing techniques.
• Manage all aspects of post-production, including sound editing, color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects, to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
• Quality Control and File Management:
• Review and refine video content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper naming conventions, version control, and backups are maintained.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with seniors, producers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets creative and technical standards.
• Stay Updated:
• Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing software, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve editing techniques and workflows.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video styles and formats.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred, but not required if the portfolio is strong.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for exporting and delivering video content.
• Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading.
• Basic knowledge of sound editing and mixing.
• Familiarity with video production processes, including shooting and directing, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Adaptable and open to feedback, with a willingness to iterate on projects until the desired outcome is achieved.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expertise in motion graphics and animation using After Effects or similar software.
• Relevant certifications in video editing or post-production (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert) are a plus.
