Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for multiple brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the technical skills necessary to bring our brand's vision to life. will be responsible for creating a variety of video content, including product videos, promotional campaigns, social media clips, and educational content.
Responsibilities
• Edit and produce high-quality video content: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to edit videos that engage and inform our audience. This includes product demos, testimonials, social media content, and educational videos.
• Collaborate with the creative team: Collaborate with the creative director, graphic designers, and content creators to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand message across all video content.
• Create engaging social media content: Produce eye-catching video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Ensure brand consistency: Maintain brand consistency and quality across all video content as per each brand’s specific style and tone guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keep informed about the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends to continuously improve the quality and creativity of our video content.
• Optimize videos for various platforms: Ensure that videos are optimized for different platforms, ensuring the best quality and performance across various devices and formats.
• Review and implement feedback: Work with stakeholders to review feedback and make necessary revisions to video content, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards
Ideal Skill Set:
• Proficient in any video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Ability and willingness to utilise new age video editing tools such as inShot / CapCut when required.
• Strong understanding of video formats, and best practices for online distribution.
• Excellent storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Demonstrated creativity and artistic skills, with the ability to conceptualize & execute visually appealing video content.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends and their video requirements.
• Proactive research & execution of social media trends & interesting concepts in this field
• A passion for skincare and beauty products is a plus!
