We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our Creative Services team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and expert proficiency in video editing software. If you are a creative thinker, highly organized, and can bring visual concepts to life, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
· Edit video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and promotional materials, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.
· Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and create compelling visual narratives.
· Review and organize raw footage, select and combine the most effective shots, and create sequences that tell a story.
· Ensure video and audio quality meets industry standards and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the editing process.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve editing skills and techniques.
· Collaborate with other team members, including graphic designers, animators, and sound engineers, to create a cohesive final product.
· Manage and maintain the video editing equipment, software, and assets library.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in media production, or a related field is preferred.
· Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and creativity.
· Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
· Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound recording.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
· Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading is a plus.
· Knowledge of 3D modelling and animation is an advantage.
