Job description
Job Description: We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Video Podcast Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging video podcasts and creating compelling reels and thumbnails that capture the essence of each episode and enhance viewer engagement on our YouTube channel.

Responsibilities:
• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. Material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
• Create engaging and visually appealing thumbnails for YouTube videos and Instagram reels.
• Design and produce short video reels that highlight key moments or themes from podcast episodes.
• Ensure the final product aligns with the intended narrative and adheres to the channel’s style guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the content team to discuss the vision and scope of the project, understanding the core message and target audience.
• Manage multiple projects from conception to completion under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio. Experience in podcast editing is highly preferred.
• Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Excellent understanding of digital technology and editing tools.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Keen eye for detail and an aesthetic sense tailored towards online content.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
