Job Title: Video Editor
We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our newsroom at LawStreet Journal, India's leading independent legal and political media platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms using Premiere Pro, CapCut & After Effects
• Transform courtroom coverage, legal interviews, and political stories into compelling visual content
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, and infographics to enhance storytelling
• Design thumbnails and social graphics to boost reach and engagement (Bonus)
Your Background:
• 24 years of editing experience
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut
• Strong sense of storytelling, legal accuracy & video aesthetics
• Bonus: Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or legal/political media
