All this with an approach of forming an Eco system (For our customers) between both.Job briefWe are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.Ultimately, as a Film and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.ResponsibilitiesManipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audienceTake a brief to grasp the production team's needs and specificationsReview shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuityTrim footage segments and put together the sequence of the filmInput music, dialogs, graphics and effectsCreate rough and final cutsEnsure logical sequencing and smooth runningConsult with stakeholders from production to post-production processContinuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.RequirementsProven work experience as a Video EditorSolid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolioThorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuityFamiliarity with special effects, 3D and compositingCreative mind and storytelling skillsBS degree in film studies, cinematography or related fieldRequirementsEssential SkillsExperience in a similar position or a strong body of infographic work.Highly proficient in Premiere ProGood to have skillsKnowledge and understanding of other software in Adobe's Creative Cloud is preferable, butOther desirable skills: Hand-drawn illustration skills are also welcome.
