Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for social, advertising, and branding campaigns.
Create vertical short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Edit long-form projects such as commercials, podcasts, and brand documentaries.
Add motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and polished effects.
Sync music, sound effects, and voiceovers for maximum impact.
Ensure content matches brand tone, style, and storytelling goals.
Collaborate with graphics/branding team on motion elements and thumbnails.
Deliver projects on deadline with organized file management.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Editing Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
Storytelling: Strong sense of pacing, narrative, and emotional connection.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring every edit is smooth, polished, and error-free.
Creativity: Ability to suggest innovative approaches to visual storytelling.
Adaptability: Skilled at editing across multiple platforms and styles.
Collaboration: Works effectively with videographers, photographers, and marketers.
Qualifications
Proficient in video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Avid, and more.
Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Bridge.
Strong understanding of post-production processes including video production, filming techniques, motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and videography.
Familiarity with FTP protocols for transferring large files efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines.
A portfolio showcasing previous work in video editing, content creation, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of photography principles is a plus.
