Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. As a Video Editor at Namaste Yoga India, you will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, professional videos that align with our brand’s voice and creative goals. You’ll work closely with the team members to transform concepts into visually stunning video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Edit video footage, audio, and graphics to create engaging video content that meets the company’s creative vision.
• Shooting videos and photos with provided camera
· Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, brand guidelines, and desired outcomes.
· Cut, arrange, and assemble footage into a final product that is visually cohesive, entertaining, and brand-consistent.
· Ensure the final edit meets technical specifications for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
· Add special effects, music, sound design, and other post-production elements to enhance the video.
· Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the editing process, ensuring content is error-free and polished.
· Stay updated on current video editing trends, techniques, and best practices to bring fresh, creative ideas to projects.
· Manage and organize video assets, including editing sequences, audio files, and project files.
· Design and produce visual content for digital and print media, including social media posts, website elements, email templates, ads, brochures, and presentations.
· Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
Key Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role in video production.
· Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
· Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolution standards for various platforms.
· Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is a plus (Adobe After Effects, etc.).
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· A keen eye for detail and excellent visual storytelling skills.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
· Knowledge of sound editing and mixing is a plus.
· A portfolio or reel showcasing your previous work is required.
