Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented individual to produce engaging video content and manage our social media channels (primarily for Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking audiences). This role combines video production, editing, and strategy — perfect for a content creator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
Video Editing Responsibilities
Create high-quality, short- and long-form video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and WeChat
Edit footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
Add subtitles (Cantonese & Mandarin), transitions, and other visual effects to enhance viewer engagement
Collaborate with internal teams to turn concepts into compelling visual stories
Repurpose existing content for different formats and channels
Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with our brand identity
Social Media Management Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and publish posts across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, WeChat)
Develop and execute content strategies tailored to Chinese-speaking audiences
Monitor analytics to measure performance and adjust content accordingly
Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages professionally
Stay up to date on platform trends, algorithm changes, and viral formats
Qualifications & Skills
Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
Experience managing social media accounts, especially for Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking audiences
Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is required
Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines independently
Bonus: Familiarity with WeChat, Xiaohongshu, or Chinese social platforms
