We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor with a strong passion for storytelling through short-form content, specifically tailored for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut, with a keen eye for trending formats, dynamic transitions, and engaging hooks that resonate with digital audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Edit short-form video content for social media (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) using raw footage.
• Add dynamic text, motion graphics, visual effects, sound effects, and music to enhance viewer engagement.
• Use CapCut for quick edits and mobile-first content when needed.
• Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to meet brand guidelines and campaign goals.
• Research trends and implement creative transitions, meme formats, and viral styles into edits.
• Organize and manage video assets, project files, and version control efficiently.
• Deliver edits in various aspect ratios (+:16, 1:1, etc.) suitable for each platform.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of social media content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut (mobile/desktop).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current content trends.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent sense of pacing, music synchronization, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and basic animation is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with influencers, brands, or digital content agencies.
• Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok algorithm and best practices.
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop or Illustrator) is an added advantage.
