Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field
4 - 6 years of experience editing video for digital distribution
Working knowledge of Adobe Premier, Apple Final Cut, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Affects, as well as Adobe Audition or Audacity
Experience with video production techniques such as camera operation, lighting (on set and in field), green screen, audio recording, and introductory producing
Experience with compositing, key framing, title design, visual effects, color correction and sound design
Proven experience with compressing video for web and broadcast distribution
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to provide information in a succinct and easy to understand manner
Strong ability to work independently, with self-direction, to complete tasks and projects in a pro-active manner
Proven ability to multi-task and to manage several projects/tasks at once while projecting a positive outward demeanor
Natural eye for detail in visual media
Responsibilities

Stay current with advances in the technical communications profession, technology, and tools through reading and continuing education
Work with stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved
Assist with planning to schedule work, determine deadlines, and create plans to achieve desired goals

Position Overview:

The Video Editor works closely with the Video Production Manager and multiple stakeholders to produce a variety of video segments for distribution on social media, websites, and other digital outlets. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
