About the Role
We're seeking a creative and technically skilled Video Editor/Content Creator to produce compelling motivational content. The ideal candidate will combine storytelling expertise with advanced editing capabilities to create inspiring videos that resonate with our audience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create engaging motivational videos using a mix of AI-generated content, licensed sports movie footage, and stock media
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and emotional tone across all content
- Edit and enhance footage using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Design dynamic motion graphics and text animations that enhance the narrative
- Sync audio (music, voice-overs, sound effects) with visual elements to maximize emotional impact
- Optimize content for various social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
- Manage content pipeline from conception to final delivery
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative concepts and improve content quality
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Demonstrated experience creating motivational or emotional narrative content
- Strong portfolio showcasing dynamic editing techniques and motion graphics
- Experience working with AI video tools and understanding their capabilities
- Excellent understanding of pacing, timing, and emotional storytelling
- Knowledge of current social media trends and platform-specific requirements
- Strong eye for composition, color grading, and visual aesthetics
Technical Requirements
- Expert-level mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- After Effects: Motion graphics, visual effects, and compositing
- Premiere Pro: Video editing, color correction, and audio mixing
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools and their integration
- Understanding of video codecs, formats, and delivery specifications
- Knowledge of audio editing and sound design principles
- Experience with video compression and optimization techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cinematic editing techniques
- Understanding of copyright laws and fair use regarding movie footage
- Basic understanding of script writing and narrative structure
