Overview:
Historika Foundations is seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our team in Laxmi Nagar, East Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history and storytelling, with a strong ability to craft engaging 5-minute explainer videos and shorts while also possessing graphic design skills to create visually appealing assets.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the content team to understand the historical lessons and themes to be communicated in each video.
2. Edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring the final product aligns with the vision and objectives of the project.
3. Incorporate creative visual effects, animations, and graphics to enhance the storytelling and engagement of the videos.
4. Design and create graphic assets such as logos, illustrations, and promotional materials for video projects and other marketing initiatives.
5. Ensure consistency in branding, style, and tone across all video and graphic content.
6. Optimize videos and graphics for different platforms and formats, including social media, websites, and presentations.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in video editing, graphic design, and storytelling techniques.
8. Manage and organize video and graphic assets, including footage, music, and design elements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing, animation, and graphic design skills.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, as well as graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
3. Strong understanding of storytelling principles and how to convey complex historical concepts in a concise and engaging manner through videos and graphics.
4. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. Creative mindset with a passion for history and learning, constantly seeking new ways to enhance video and graphic content.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or related field (preferred but not required).
