Role Overview:
We are in search of an Experienced Video Editor who will play a crucial role in amplifying our brand’s narrative through high-quality video content. This role requires a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of visual storytelling, capable of transforming concepts into compelling videos that resonate with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, script, and storyboard video content that aligns with brand objectives.
Edit promotional videos, product tutorials, and social media clips, ensuring each piece reflects brand values and engages viewers.
Creative Development:
Innovate and implement new video styles, formats, and techniques to enhance brand storytelling and audience engagement.
Utilize animation and motion graphics to elevate video content when appropriate.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Manage video assets, maintaining organization and quality control throughout the editing process.
Brand Consistency:
Uphold and reinforce brand guidelines across all video projects, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
Continuously seek feedback and iteratively improve video content based on performance metrics and audience insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to align video content with overall business strategies.
Present video concepts and edits to stakeholders, effectively communicating creative choices and incorporating feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
3+ years of proven experience in video editing, preferably within a D2C or branding context (portfolio required).
Strong expertise in video editing and production tools (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Exceptional storytelling skills with a solid understanding of pacing, composition, and audio design.
Experience with user-centered design principles and the ability to conduct audience analysis to inform video strategy.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
