What you’ll be working on?
We are seeking a Video presenter who can present our scripts for educational videos and other products. You will be presenting core academic content that engages students providing them with a seamless learning experience without compromising on the learning outcomes. You will work closely with creative directors and the production team. You will get the opportunity to play an important role in impacting students learning journey and be part of creative learning vision. The grades in focus for now are G6-G10. Eventually we will focus on lower grades and G11 and 12. You will be the face of the product.
● Present the script in a manner that is professional, engaging, entertaining, and readily understandable by a non-specialist audience, making complex issues accessible.
● Interpret serious or comic roles by speech, gesture, and body movement.
● Interpret the work of a scriptwriter under the instruction and support of a director.
● Improvise the reactions as per the situation.
● Rehearse and memorize lines.
● Act in cinematic videos as per the requirements of the director.
● Contribute to the creative treatment and be involved in the production.
● Improve performance based on feedback from the director.
● Collaborate with other presenters as part of an ensemble.
● Provide clear treatments and proposals in the narrative, ensuring consistency of content, quality, and style.
● Giving voice-overs as per video requirements.
● Attend meetings to prepare and modify scripts and help directors form the structure of each video
● Flexible to do anything according to the production needs and the requirements of the director
What are we looking for?
● Graduate/postgraduate (Engineering/medical background/Arts/any stream)
● You should be able to articulate concepts well
● Have excellent communication skills and speak fluent English.
● Be fun and friendly to form a good rapport with the students who will be watching your videos
● Have an innovative nature to ensure good engagement and retention of the videos
● Work experience in EdTech, the film industry, television channels, or any major Educational YouTube channels are a plus
● Being a stage actor is a plus
● Having theatre experience is an advantage
