WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?
We’re building a new-age food company rooted in health, culture, and taste—and content is key to how we connect. This is a great opportunity to own creative storytelling, experiment with ideas, and make your work seen (and loved) by thousands every day.
As a creative partner to our marketing team, you’ll ideate, shoot, and edit content that speaks to our audience, boosts performance across paid and organic channels, and builds our visual identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Shoot and edit high-quality short-form videos for performance marketing (Meta, YouTube, Google ads), D2C platforms, and social media
• Understand marketing goals and audience behavior to create content that converts
• Manage end-to-end production: concept, scripting (if needed), shooting, editing, motion graphics, sound design, and final delivery
• Collaborate with the creative and growth teams to test, analyze, and iterate on video formats and messaging
• Stay updated on content trends, platform best practices, and creator culture, especially within the food/D2C ecosystem
• Maintain an organized media library and ensure quick turnarounds for time-sensitive content
• Deliver high-quality content while being agile, experimental, and deadline-driven
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE?
• 4–7 years of experience in video shooting and editing, ideally for consumer or D2C brands
• Strong understanding of performance marketing principles — content that’s optimized for CTR, retention, and conversions
• Proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and basic sound/motion editing
• Comfortable with camera equipment, lighting setups, and basic production planning
• Experience working with food or lifestyle brands is a big plus
• Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong storytelling skills, a keen visual eye, and a “get-things-done” attitude
