Do you love telling stories that make people stop scrolling?
Are you hungry to create meaningful, thought-provoking content that actually shifts perspectives?
Debunk is hiring a Video Producer/Editor to help us level up our content game and expand into YouTube. With a community of over 130K+ followers, we’re building a platform that digs deep into energy truths, climate complexity, and Canada’s role in the global energy future. Our mini documentaries aim to expose what’s overlooked, challenge misperceptions, and reveal the mind-blowing facts most people miss.
What You’ll Do:
Work directly with the founders to bring stories to life through visual storytelling
Produce and edit 5–10 minute videos/mini-docs for YouTube and clips for socials
Collaborate with our social media team to repurpose content across platforms
Own the production pipeline — from concept and scripting support to final edits
Shape the creative direction — we want your voice, your eye, and your ideas
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have a passion for energy, sustainability, climate, or resource development
Know your way around video production — editing, graphics, audio, etc.
Can work independently and love having creative freedom
Thrive in fast-moving, idea-rich environments
Are curious, clever, and ready to help simplify complex stories for a wide audience
Why Join Us:
Real autonomy and input — your vision matters here
A chance to build a series from the ground up
Be part of a purpose-driven team looking to educate, disrupt and inspire
Opportunity for long-term work as our platform and content evolve
To Apply:
Send us a quick intro, links to your best video work (YouTube, IG, TikTok, or portfolio), and a note on why you're interested in energy storytelling. If you have questions, reach out to [email protected]
