The Role
We’re seeking an entry-level Video Production Engineer to produce dynamic educational and promotional videos. If you have 1–2 years of experience (including internships/freelance) and thrive in collaborative, on-site teams, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
???? Educational & Promotional Video Production:
• Film and edit educational tutorials, e-learning modules, and promotional/ad videos for Skillzcafe and its clients.
• Craft engaging ad content (e.g., social media ads, product demos, brand campaigns) that aligns with marketing objectives.
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve to edit footage, integrate motion graphics, and ensure seamless transitions.
????️ Technical Execution:
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for studio and on-location shoots.
• Optimise videos for diverse platforms (LMS, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) with attention to resolution, codecs, and file formats.
• Enhance audio quality through sound mixing and noise reduction.
???? Collaboration:
• Communicate clearly with content teams, marketers, and designers to align on creative vision and deadlines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to pitch ideas for ad campaigns and educational storytelling.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
• 1–2 years of experience in video production/editing (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Basic knowledge of filming techniques, lighting, and audio setup.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Nice-to-Have:
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics in ads.
• Experience creating social media ads (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Basic understanding of marketing principles for promotional content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) for storyboarding and reports.
Soft Skills:
