THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a part-time Video Production Intern to support our team in all stages of production, from pre-production planning to on-set assistance and post-production workflow. You will work closely with our internal video and marketing team to bring creative projects to life. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment and interested in creating beauty and native, trend-driven content.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Pre-Production & Production:
Support producers in planning and executing productions of various scales.
Coordinate casting logistics, including scheduling, data entry, and organizing casting meetings.
Assist in preparing contracts call sheets, and managing vendor communications.
Manage and organize production equipment, props, and on-set materials.
Provide hands-on support during shoots, ensuring smooth on-set operations.
Handle additional production-related tasks as needed to keep projects on track.
Post-Production:
Organize production footage and maintain an efficient folder system.
Help assemble raw footage and prep materials for the editing team.
Support editors with asset management, labeling, and media transfers.
WHO YOU ARE
Current student or recent graduate in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field.
Passionate about video production with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
Interested in beauty and native, trend-driven content.
Hands-on experience working on-set (PA work, school projects, etc.)
You know your way around Adobe Creative Cloud.
You’re organized, detail-oriented, and great at keeping things on track.
A production reel showcasing your work is highly encouraged.
You're amped to play a hands-on role in elevating IL MAKIAGE’s visual identity, advertising, and creative strategy.
