As a Video Thumbnail Designer, you will play a crucial role in our content creation process, ensuring that our videos stand out and attract viewers. As a Video Thumbnail Designer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties:

Create eye-catching thumbnails for our various Youtube channels and videos

Bring the latest trends and strategies in thumbnail development ensuring our videos remain relevant and competitive

Develop graphic elements and visual solutions for both videos and photos while remaining consistent with our brand identity

Collaborate with writers and other stakeholders for creation and review of thumbnails, to develop new styles

Report on thumbnail analytics and performance metrics to create data-driven design

Requirements:

Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Photoshop and Illustrator

An advanced understanding of graphic design, visual design, and creative thinking

1 or more years of education in graphic design or equivalent

1 or more years of working experience in relevant field

Quick thinking with the ability to create and execute successful solutions on a tight schedule

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with several different projects going on at the same time

Proactive, and motivated to be able to work independently

Excellent written and spoken communication skills to be able to collaborate interdepartmentally

Ability to take constructive criticism and excel with it

Assets:

Understanding of Premiere and After Effects

Experience with productivity and communication tools such as Microsoft Team and AirTable

Compensation:

For this position, the typical hourly wage falls between CAD $27-$32 per hour. The base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience.
