If you do - this is your chance to join one of the Okanagan’s fastest-growing agencies and to create video content for some of the local Okanagan businesses.
The opportunity
We are searching for a talented Videographer to join our growing creative team.
You will help us complete projects that will vary from basic Business Spotlight interview-style videos to product videos.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Web Department Manager to deliver high-quality video assets in a timely manner
Plan with the client; storyboard; shoot; edit, and create.
Start off with 1 to 3 videos per month (no guarantees)
The contractor is to provide needed equipment to complete projects.
What we’re looking for:
1+ years of previous experience with photography and videography (with a portfolio)
Artistic ability to compose a shot: understand framing, color, light, props selection, and styling to create a visually appealing image.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time and project management skills and the ability to manage several video projects at once
Engaged in social media and aware of the latest trends
Demonstrated experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere) including basic colour correction, audio mixing
Requirements:
Proven experience in both videography and photography
Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop)
Strong creative eye and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to take feedback and revise work efficiently
Reliable access to necessary equipment and transportation (if local shoots are required)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points:
Experience shooting for brands, agencies, or digital marketing campaigns
Motion graphics or animation experience
Drone certification and footage capabilities

Please note that this is a contractor role, and pay is paid per assigned project:
1) $400.00 per Basic Video Shoot – 30 seconds - 4 minute short story video – includes 2 hours on-site filming and up to 6 hours pre-planning and editing, total 8 hours for complete project.
2) $650.00 per Bronze Video Shoot – 30 seconds – 5 minute short story video – includes extensive editing, 4 hours on site filming, up to 12 hours pre-planning and editing, total up to 16 hours for complete project.
3) $800.00 per Silver Video Shoot – 30 seconds to 30 minutes of story video – Higher production video includes 6 hours on site filming, up to 16 hours pre-planning and editing, total up to 22 hours for complete project.
4) $1100.00 per Gold Video Shoot – 30 seconds to 30 minutes of story video – Top quality production video includes 8 hours on site filming, up to 24 hours pre-planning and editing, total up to 32 hours for complete project.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
