Role Overview
We're hiring a videographer + editor who is an absolute ninja with short-form content. You should know how to bring a story to life in under 30 seconds, build narrative arcs, and edit visuals that stop thumbs and drive conversions. If you can pair performance insights with creativity, this is your dream role.
Your Responsibilities
• Shoot and produce daily short-form videos (Reels, ads, testimonials, founder-led content, trend videos).
• Craft strong narrative-driven content using both voice and visuals — hooks, transitions, captions, storytelling.
• Edit with speed and precision: Cutdowns, overlays, captions, SFX, and platform-specific optimizations.
• Collaborate with the brand, performance, and content team to create high-CTR content for Instagram and Meta ads.
• Stay on top of content trends, viral formats, meme culture, and competitor ad styles in beauty and wellness.
• Manage your shooting schedule, optimize lighting, framing, and audio.
• Ensure quick turnaround and consistently high creative output.
• You Are
• A short-form storytelling genius — you can turn a 5-minute story into 30 seconds of gold.
• Deeply familiar with what works for Instagram, Meta ads, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Obsessed with editing styles, transitions, captions, and music that perform.
• Fluent in the language of hooks, scroll depth, CTRs, ROAS, and performance-led creative strategies.
• Agile and self-starting — able to produce independently, with quick feedback loops.
Requirements
• 5 years of experience in video shooting + editing, ideally for D2C or content-led brands.
• Strong portfolio of short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, or ad creatives).
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, After Effects, or other editing tools.
• Has own DSLR/mirrorless camera or advanced phone setup and can manage production independently.
• Basic design or motion graphics skills (Figma/Photoshop/After Effects) is a bonus.
