We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor cum Cinematographer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual storytelling, proficiency in video editing software, and experience with cinematography. This role involves shooting and editing high-quality videos, including faculty shoots within a college setup, to create engaging and visually appealing content.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content, including faculty shoots
Collaborate with the creative team and college faculty to understand project requirements and objectives.
Operate camera equipment and set up lighting and audio for video shoots in diverse college environments.
Edit raw footage into polished videos using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software, ensuring high-quality production standards.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong skills in cinematography, including camera operation, lighting, and audio setup.
Experience with faculty shoots and ability to capture professional-quality footage in a college setting.
Ability to adapt to different environments and scenarios within a college setup, including classrooms, lecture halls, and events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Video Editor and Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
