We’re currently seeking an experienced Village Manager (or strong Assistant Village Manager ready to step up) to support two of our communities – Hillsview (Happy Valley) and The Grange (Grange) on a short-term assignment (1–2 months) with an immediate start.

The Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations across both villages, ensuring they are well-run, safe and welcoming environments for residents.
You’ll be hands-on, visible and approachable, supporting your teams while building strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading daily operations across both villages to ensure high standards of presentation, safety and service
Supporting and guiding on-site teams to maintain a positive, high-performing culture
Building strong, trusted relationships with residents, committees and families
Overseeing maintenance, apartment turns and general village operations
Managing budgets and monitoring operational performance
Ensuring compliance with WHS, risk and relevant retirement living regulations
Supporting resident engagement and community activities
About You
You’re a confident, adaptable leader who can step in, quickly build trust, and keep things running smoothly.
You’ll bring:
Experience in retirement living, aged care, or a similar operational environment
Previous leadership experience (Village Manager or Assistant Village Manager level)
The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
Confidence working with budgets, reporting and operational processes
