Your role
As a Virtual Business Banker – Merchant Solutions, you’ll play a key role in driving growth across our business customer base. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our branch network and small business bankers, engaging directly with new and existing customers to identify their transaction banking and merchant needs. This is a highly sales-driven role , ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about customer solutions that make a genuine difference.
This role is about more than just banking. You’ll be a trusted advisor and solutions expert, helping businesses across sectors – from retail to hospitality to professional services – access innovative ways to take payments and manage their cash flow. You’ll also be an active partner to our branches, regularly visiting locations across your state to support, educate and build advocacy around Westpac’s merchant offerings.
What do I need?
3-5 years in a customer centric company or role
Preferred experience in transaction banking & payments sales
Understanding of the needs and opportunities for our small to medium businesses customers, including challenges, trends and the competitive and regulatory environment
Experience as a Customer Care Consumer Banker or retail Personal
