Software Product Development Venture Executive Role
About the Opportunity:
A well-established business group is venturing into enterprise software development. This greenfield initiative focuses on building high-impact solutions for mid-to-large enterprises, particularly in domains such as CRM, ERP, and enterprise integration.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in software product development and a strong orientation toward enterprise sales, with proven exposure to platforms like Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the setup and scale-up of the software business from inception to a growth-phase enterprise.
• Define the long-term vision, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for enterprise software products.
• Identify high-value market opportunities and establish key enterprise accounts.
• Build and lead a high-performing sales and presales team with deep domain knowledge in platforms like Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle.
• Oversee product roadmap and ensure alignment with market demands.
• Collaborate with CTO/product leads to ensure successful product development lifecycle.
• Establish operational processes, hiring plans, P&L responsibilities, and key metrics.
• Drive partnerships with enterprise clients, technology providers, and system integrators.
Requirements:
• 15–20+ years in software product development with at least 5+ years in a C-level or senior leadership role.
• Strong track record of growing B2B software businesses and launching new enterprise products.
• Prior experience with software ecosystems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle Cloud, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS models, GTM strategy, and solution-based sales.
• Ability to build strategic alliances and negotiate enterprise-level deals.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-building capabilities.
